2. General Information and Mandatory Clauses
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. This policy follows the transparency requirements of Art. 13 GDPR.

3. Hosting and Server Log Files
Our website/API is hosted by an external service provider (Railway). When you access our services, the server automatically collects info that your browser/app transmits into 'Server Log Files':
- Browser type and version / Device model
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Time of the server request
- IP address (anonymized where possible)
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Legitimate Interest) to ensure error-free operation.
4. Information Collection in the App
To provide a functional experience, we process:
- Location Data (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Used only to show nearby stations. Not permanently stored.
- Device Identifiers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): A unique ID to manage your favorites and local settings.
- Notification Tokens (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Collected via Firebase FCM to send requested price alerts.
- Crash Reports (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Anonymized data via Firebase Crashlytics to improve stability.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following providers. Note that data may be transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
- Tankerkoenig API: Fuel price data provider.
- Google AdMob: Displays advertisements. We use the User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage your consent.
- Google Firebase: Used for push notifications, crash reporting, and API security (App Check).
